Today, Staklo Zorić d.o.o. operates in Serbia, throughout the region, and in most countries of the European Union, continuously developing its product range and expanding its presence in the field of glass processing and applications.

History of Staklo Zorić d.o.o.

The craft business Staklo Zorić PR Mirko Zorić was registered, marking the beginning of the company’s development. The business was established in Zemun as a small workshop specializing in the processing and installation of architectural glass. In its early years, services included edge processing of glass from 3 to 8 mm thick, hole drilling, manual sandblasting, as well as the delivery and installation of glass products.

1999

The craft business Staklo Zorić PR Mirko Zorić was registered, marking the beginning of the company’s development. The business was established in Zemun as a small workshop specializing in the processing and installation of architectural glass. In its early years, services included edge processing of glass from 3 to 8 mm thick, hole drilling, manual sandblasting, as well as the delivery and installation of glass products.

A 500 m² production facility was built in Zemun, accompanied by the acquisition of the first automatic machines, significantly improving the company’s glass processing capacity and capabilities. The production range included edge processing of glass from 3 to 19 mm thick, automatic sandblasting, framing of mirrors and pictures, as well as glass delivery and installation.

2001-2003

A 500 m² production facility was built in Zemun, accompanied by the acquisition of the first automatic machines, significantly improving the company’s glass processing capacity and capabilities. The production range included edge processing of glass from 3 to 19 mm thick, automatic sandblasting, framing of mirrors and pictures, as well as glass delivery and installation.

The acquisition of new machinery for straight-line and circular glass processing, as well as CNC machines for cutting straight and circular shapes from glass ranging from 3 to 24 mm in thickness, further expanded the company’s production capacities. During this period, an automatic production line for insulating glass units was introduced, while the production of laminated glass also began, including glass staircases and bullet-resistant glass, using UV technology and two-component resins. At the same time, the company invested in the professional training of employees to operate numerically controlled machinery, further improving production quality and precision.

2004

The acquisition of new machinery for straight-line and circular glass processing, as well as CNC machines for cutting straight and circular shapes from glass ranging from 3 to 24 mm in thickness, further expanded the company’s production capacities. During this period, an automatic production line for insulating glass units was introduced, while the production of laminated glass also began, including glass staircases and bullet-resistant glass, using UV technology and two-component resins. At the same time, the company invested in the professional training of employees to operate numerically controlled machinery, further improving production quality and precision.

Production of shower enclosures, glass doors, office partitions, and glass railings was introduced, further expanding the company’s range of finished glass products. During the same period, the production of aluminium structures began, while the modernization of the vehicle fleet improved support for product delivery and installation.

The company launched the production of glass fittings based on its own designs, while continuing to expand its range of finished products and develop proprietary solutions. During this period, the craft business was transformed into a limited liability company – Staklo Zorić d.o.o., marking the beginning of a new phase in the company’s development.

The company obtained domestic and international recognition of its trademark and industrial design rights, while also entering the European Union market. The production range was further enhanced with high-precision glass for household appliances and clean rooms, the development of new models of shower enclosures, glass doors and partitions, as well as the certification of bullet-resistant glass. During this period, construction of a new production facility in the Stara Pazova industrial zone also began, creating the conditions for further expansion of production capacity.

2013-2016

The company obtained domestic and international recognition of its trademark and industrial design rights, while also entering the European Union market. The production range was further enhanced with high-precision glass for household appliances and clean rooms, the development of new models of shower enclosures, glass doors and partitions, as well as the certification of bullet-resistant glass. During this period, construction of a new production facility in the Stara Pazova industrial zone also began, creating the conditions for further expansion of production capacity.

The company moved into a new 2,200 m² production facility in the Stara Pazova industrial zone, marking a new stage of development and a significant expansion of production capacity. The glass tempering process was introduced, accompanied by the acquisition of international certificates and approvals. New machinery and equipment also enabled the processing of large-format glass measuring up to 6,000 × 3,210 mm. Through continued investment in new technologies and state-of-the-art machinery for the glass industry, the company continued to increase its production capacity and expand its presence in both domestic and international markets.

2018-2021

The company moved into a new 2,200 m² production facility in the Stara Pazova industrial zone, marking a new stage of development and a significant expansion of production capacity. The glass tempering process was introduced, accompanied by the acquisition of international certificates and approvals. New machinery and equipment also enabled the processing of large-format glass measuring up to 6,000 × 3,210 mm. Through continued investment in new technologies and state-of-the-art machinery for the glass industry, the company continued to increase its production capacity and expand its presence in both domestic and international markets.

A new production hall was constructed and connected to the existing facility, increasing the total production and warehouse area to 4,500 m². At the same time, the modernization of the vehicle fleet continued, along with the implementation of new technologies in internal business organization, with the aim of further improving efficiency and supporting the company’s continued growth.
