Thermally treated glass - highly durable and safety glass

Tempered glass is a type of glass that has been subjected to a special treatment process to increase its strength and resistance to impacts and temperature changes.

Tempered glass ESG

Tempered glass has increased mechanical and thermal durability, and a characteristic way of breaking and breaking into small and mostly non-sharp pieces, which is why it is considered safety. Tempered glass is up to 5 times stronger than ordinary glass of the same thickness. 12150

Partially tempered glass TVG

This glass has increased mechanical and thermal durability and is 5 to 7 times stronger than ordinary glass of the same thickness. The difference between tempered and partially tempered glass is primarily in the different fracture structure, partially tempered glass breaks in larger pieces. It is mainly used for laminated glass so that when both layers of glass break, the entire laminated piece remains flat (does not bend): glass railings, canopies. The tempering process is carried out according to the EN 1863 standard.

HST - tempered glass test

It is an additional process that is performed on tempered ESG glass that minimizes the additional risk of spontaneous cracking of tempered glass that can occur due to the presence of nickel sulfide. It is recommended for glass on facades as well as other glass of your choice. The test lasts 2-6 hours depending on the thickness of the glass and affects the price of the final product. In the HST process, glass that contains nickel sulfide will crack in the machine, and glass that is intact will be delivered with this certificate.

Heat-strengthened glass

Heat-strengthened glass, also called semi-tempered glass, is glass which is produced by a process of controlled heating and a slow process of controlled cooling. This glass does not break into small granular particles, instead, it breaks into similar shards like standard flat glass. However, semi-tempered glass has higher mechanical and thermal resistance than flat glass. It is used in places where there is a requirement for higher durability of glass and the integrity of the glazing in case of breakage must be ensured.
