Anti-corrosive glass

Over time, glass surfaces can lose their original clarity and shine due to the accumulation of limescale and mineral deposits. Continuous exposure to water, heat, and high humidity further accelerates this process, causing the glass to become cloudy, dull, and visibly aged.

The longer limescale remains on the glass surface, the more pronounced the deposits become and the harder they are to remove. This is why protecting glass from limescale and regularly maintaining glass surfaces are essential for preserving their cleanliness, transparency, and aesthetic appearance.

OptiShowers - Anti-corrosive glass

OptiShowers is a specially designed glass with a protective coating that helps prevent the build-up of limescale, mineral deposits, and water marks on the surface. Thanks to this protection, the glass retains its clarity, shine, and clean appearance for longer, even when frequently exposed to water, heat, and high humidity.

OptiShowers is primarily used for shower enclosures, shower screens, and bathroom glass partitions, but it is also suitable for other environments where glass surfaces are exposed to moisture and elevated temperatures. Thanks to its protective properties, it is a practical solution for saunas, wellness and spa areas, solariums, and similar applications.

Unlike conventional protective coatings that are applied to the glass surface after production, the protective layer on OptiShowers glass permanently bonds with the glass during the tempering process. This provides long-lasting protection against limescale, mineral deposits, and water marks, while preserving a high level of transparency and a clean, elegant appearance throughout the product’s lifetime.

The permanent protective coating makes glass maintenance and cleaning significantly easier, without the need for special cleaning products, additional treatments, or periodic reapplication of the protective layer.

OptiShowers is not self-cleaning glass. Like any other glass surface, it requires regular maintenance, but thanks to its protective coating, the cleaning process is considerably faster, simpler, and easier.
